To kick off our 2026 season of monthly standup, we've called back just a few standouts from our summer festival to perform extended sets.David Lonstein is a stand-up comedian and writer based in New York City. David is a 5th generation Ellenvillite (Ellenvillian?) who has performed in Montreal, Madison, and other cities that don’t start with an M. David is also the creator and producer of Blind Comedy Auction.Allen Frishman performed in the 60's and 70's as a hotel entertainer. In the 80's he created Chicken Lips, a locally known jug band full of fun and laughs. Recently, Allen was a guest on the Jimmy Fallon show (in one of his dreams) and both of his published books, "Tales of a Catskill Mountain Plumber," and "More Borscht from a Catskill Mountain Plumber" are on his family's best-seller list. He lives by the standard of making at least one person laugh a day, and “May the Borscht be with you!"Beth Farber is a stand-up comedian who has performed at comedy clubs, charity events and private parties all over New York City. She grew up in Brooklyn before “Made in Brooklyn” added value to merchandise and spent her professional career representing indigent criminals in Baltimore and New York City. These experiences, as well as being the mother of three adult children and now a bone fide Borscht Belt bubbie, are the source for her sometimes dark and always very funny comedy.Headliner Jeffrey Gurian is often referred to as a comedy legend. As a comedy writer and performer, he’s worked with most of the greats from Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, Andrew “Dice” Clay, Jackie Mason, and Gilbert Gottfried, to Kevin Hart, D.L. Hughley, Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. He’s performed in all the big clubs in NY and LA, on Comedy Central, AXS TV, Sirius XM radio and has been profiled in the NY Times and on every TV station coming out of NYC.
